Better Health Quit Smoking - Information for Professionals

While we know that quitting smoking is not easy, January is a perfect time to try again. The best thing a smoker can do for their health is to stop smoking, and there is more help and support available now than ever before. If a smoker quits for 28 days, they’re 5 times more likely to quit for good. Better Health have created a new Quit Smoking campaign that runs from the 28th December - 31st January.

Live Well Stay Well offers free support and advice to residents wanting to quit over the telephone. Our advisors can help residents find the right support for them; we’ve already helped thousands of people to make healthy lifestyle changes.

How to Make a Referral

To refer a patient or client to Live Well Stay Well, please click ‘Professional Referral’ at the top of your screen. Don’t forget to enter all your details at the bottom of the form and tick the Stop Smoking tile, so we can provide you with feedback.
