Walking in Buckinghamshire

Living in Buckinghamshire means living within a lot of greenery, walking space and fresh outdoors. With social restrictions in place, this is the perfect time to put on your woolly hat and venture into the great British outdoors. Walking can be a great way to get out of the house and explore the local countryside for anyone and everyone, so why not give it a try?

At Live Well Stay Well, we know that walking can do wonders not only for your physical health but also your mental health. Physical activity and being outdoors can have a positive impact on mood, energy and overall well-being by reducing stress and anxiety. At a time when we’re experiencing increased levels of anxiety and other mental health impacts, now is the perfect time to get those legs moving and endorphins pumping. Find your perfect walk and get going!

Simply Walk

Simply Walk is a Buckinghamshire Council run walking group. The walks are volunteer-led and usually run all year round, please note they are currently suspended due to national lockdown. However, if you would love to meet some fellow keen walkers and local community members this is a great way to join a group by following the volunteer leaders who’ll support you throughout the walk. Despite being suspended, you can register your interest using the walker registration form on the website, using the link below.
