Being a volunteer can provide you with so many personal and professional benefits. It can also give a healthy boost to your self-confidence and self esteem. You are doing good for others in the community, which can enable a natural sense of accomplishment and potential life satisfaction. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help support the service. Opportunities include: 

  • Promoting Live Well Stay Well at various events 
  • Promoting the importance of Health Checks in the community
  • Shadowing health interventions
  • Supporting Spark our children’s healthy lifestyle programme
  • Building relationships in the community 

If you want to help make a real difference in the community we offer:

  • Free L2 Royal Society Public Health Understanding Health Improvement training
  • Free DBS check
  • Travel expenses
  • Various certificates outlining acquired skills
